My name is Marianna Tóth Somogyiné. With my husband we own the
harlequin and black Great Dane breeding Somogy Gyöngye. In june
of 2005 we bought our first harlequin dog
"Dominica
Ghost". With him my husband’s dreams comes true.
First I didn’t want to own a Great Dane, because I had a fear of
such a giant dog, but I guess that this breed is a big hearted
and wonderfull temperamented one, and they love children as
well.
Up to this day, I think its not a chance to choose this breed;
we are beholden to their great love . This is the reason why we
decided about the breeding of the Great Dane with all our heart,
knowlegde and soul.
As a X-mas gift of 2005, we bought the harlequin bitch
"Dominica
Inez" and "Dominica Hetty", and 8 monts later the black dog
"Patakparti Király Alex".
We are exhibiting a lot on dogshows, and our danes won many
titles and awards, also we met good friends...
Some of our results: Inez Junior
Champion and Derbywinner, Ghost Junior Champion of two
countries, as well owner of many national and international
titles and group placements.
In the summer of 2007 we had a great opportunity to have our new
black princess "Champagne
de Misandre" Lots of thanks to Champagne’s
breeder: Catherine Jaouën and to Roxana Szabó for her help!
The autumn of 2007 was very experienced for us:
we had a cute black puppy
Nairobi , from
the kennel
del Nord Ovest. Also
we had a wonderfull harlequin litter with
Inez
and the Italian stud
Muchoformentera
delle Cinquanta Nereidi. 7 harlequin and one merle pup at
first. This litter was a real wonder for us: we spent all the
days and nights with them, watching how they grows, taking care
and pet them. Now we are working some new projects with matings
and we are proudly presents our new harl. bitch for
breeding from the kennel
